To accompany the rebranding of popular cycling event Le Tour de France, Paris based design agency Landor commissioned a custom typeface inspired by both the events’ rich history and the challenge and sportivity it represents. The typeface, called Galibier in reference of one of the most famous summits of the race, is an hommage to the golden age of the race itself and french design of the 60s.
